Generally travel by train as a group to the city, meeting at the Lilydale Railway Station….
We will leave the Lilydale station at 3.39 – please meet at the station at 3.15.
We shall arrive at Central at 4.45 and take a tram up Elizabeth Street to the market.
You will need to walk about 2 blocks – 1 to the tram and 1 from tram to market.
Upon arrival enjoying the sights, sounds and food of a very vibrant night market.
Cost – train fares and what you wish to buy at the market
there is a great selection of foods and you can buy large snack size foods very cheaply. (It is a different market to the usual Vic market)
We shall leave the market at about 8.15 and catch the 8.45 train back to Lilydale – arriving at Lilydale at about 9.37.
