Train trip into the City…onto the National Gallery followed by a Yum Cha lunch at Chinese Restaurant – Shark Fin Inn.
In a dual presentation of Chinese art and culture past and present, the Melbourne Winter Masterpieces series at the National Gallery of Victoria presents China’s ancient terracotta warriors alongside an exhibition of new works by one of the world’s most exciting contemporary artists, Cai Guo-Qiang.

Travel to City by Train:
We will meet at Lilydale Railway Station at 8:45am and catch the 8:53am train to Flinders Street Station.
We will walk to the National Gallery of Victoria, on St. Kilda Road arriving just after 10.00am.
Gallery Entrance Fee:
Purchase your tickets for the exhibition on the day $30.00 per ticket or $25.00 concession.
Allow 2 hours for the viewing of the exhibit plus a coffee if you want in the Gallery café.
Lunch Arrangements: Shark Fin Inn Restaurant – 50 Little Bourke Street Melbourne – 1:30pm
A booking for a “Yum Cha” sitting at the Shark Fin Inn Restaurant has been made.
As it is a long way to walk from the National Gallery, we suggest that you either take a tram/s and/or train to Parliament House Station, as it is very close to the restaurant
