Community Event – Mt Evelyn Township Street Party

This biennial event started as a very small concern back in 2001 & has evolved into an enormous festival.
At Mt Evelyn’s Street Party we celebrate the 1950s in a way that you’ve never seen it before;
with rock’n’roll dancing, musicians and roving performers, fashion contests, classic cars,
school children on stage, memorabilia and the best dressed contests.
There are competitions, loads of free activities for children and a huge marketplace,
as well as plenty of food and drinks both from stallholders and our superb local cafes.

Rotary Club of Lilydale’s involvement has varied over the years

This year, we are in charge of the Shuttle Buses & of course, our Hot Dog Stall

So this is where you as a Club Rotarian  come in:

TASKS:   1.0  MINI BUSES DRIVER  :   [2 HOUR SHIFTS]  10 people to cover the shift
                        No need for an endorsed license so anyone can drive!!!!!!!

                        These buses will pick up / drop off patrons at either Mt Evelyn Primary School
                         or Birmingham Primary School from 7am until 5pm

                      2.0   HOT DOG STALL
                           2.1    Stall Set-up & Pack-up;
                           2.2    Cook Hot Dogs;
                           2.3    Sell Hot Dogs
