SPEAKER : Greg King – 2018-2019 District 9810 Vocational Chair
Greg joined The Rotary Club of Doncaster in November 2009. He was President in 2016 before transferring to the Manningham Club at the start of 2018.
Greg’s connection with Rotary extends back more than four decades when, in 1976-77, he spent a year in the USA as a Rotary Foundation Technical Awardee, the equivalent of today’s “Ambassadorial Scholar”. He studied the emerging technology of computerised typesetting and business management while in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Over the decades Greg has spoken at Clubs in the US, England, New Zealand as well as most states in Australia.
Our speaker’s passions are The Rotary Foundation, local community activities and the promotion of the original Rotary Avenue of Service.
He is also the co-ordinator and a Presenter of “Rotary in Action” the one-hour program heard each week on 96.5 InnerFM community radio station.
